Why we fight, part 1
October 24th, 2007 @ 8:45 pm ET…

After being on the defensive for 20 straight legal attacks, we filed suit yesterday against the corporation that owns TEAM.

We filed suit because the single legal case we brought (and won) in this matter listed Orrin Woodward as a defendant—but Woodward then claimed to have magically disappeared as the manager of TEAM before the case was heard. (A legal trick like that is like pretending Rich and Jay have nothing to do with our company—but never mind. We’ll straighten it out.)

We filed suit because TEAM has had multiple chances to play by the rules in this dispute, but have gambled that they do not have to play by them. They have interfered with non-compete agreements. They have interfered with non-solicitation agreements. They refuse to arbitrate.

But most of all, we are filing suit because TEAM has taken proprietary business information from Quixtar that IBOs could be using right now to build Quixtar businesses.

If you leave your place of work today, you would leave behind your tools and information so that those who remain can carry on the business. You can’t help yourself to your computer, the stapler, the coffeemaker—or the company’s customer list.

That is ethically and morally wrong. It is also legally wrong. And that’s why we filed suit.

Oh, where to start.

We filed suit because TEAM has had multiple chances to play by the rules in this dispute, but have gambled that they do not have to play by them. They have interfered with non-compete agreements. They have interfered with non-solicitation agreements. They refuse to arbitrate.

And how are they competing, exactly? And if they are not competing, what are they soliciting for? Come on.

Here's another fun one:

But most of all, we are filing suit because TEAM has taken proprietary business information from Quixtar that IBOs could be using right now to build Quixtar businesses.

Do you mean our personal address books? Should we disavow friends and family that we've known for years longer than we've known Quixtar?

And what about this:

If you leave your place of work today, you would leave behind your tools and information so that those who remain can carry on the business. You can’t help yourself to your computer, the stapler, the coffeemaker—or the company’s customer list.

If Orrin took a computer, stapler or coffeemaker, then nail him to the wall. Somehow, I don't think he did.

Now the customer list, if I knew them before I went to work for that job, I have every right to call them about whatever the heck I want to after I quit. I knew them first.

And the best one yet:

That is ethically and morally wrong. It is also legally wrong. And that’s why we filed suit.

I don't think they should be talking to us about ethics or morality. They knew it was an internal consumption pyramid since the mid 90's. They have been watching that data. Yet (barring all ethical and moral obligation to let us know) they kept it from us.

Then the ethical and moral dilemma of ignoring the unanimous vote of the IBOAI board to not change the name back to Amway, and yet go ahead with it.

Legally, I'll have to leave it all to the lawyers, because what is moral and ethical doesn't always have much to do with what is legal.

Oh, goody. This is part one. I can't wait to see part 2. Wish they would have said part 1 of ? that way I'd know how much excitement to prepare for.

These people seem to have overdosed on stupid pills. And they wonder why people have put up blogs criticizing them?

We are da–ed if we do, and da–ed if we don’t. Team gets in trouble for promoting Q, so they stop. Now they are in trouble for not promoting Q. Anyone feel like we are in Alice's wonderland? Up is down and down is up, at least in the Alticor world.

Interfered with non-compete agreements? How? By questioning their validity?

Interfered with non-solicitation agreements? How? No one I know has solicited anyone for any business venture, except of course when Quixtar called my downline to tell them they would move them to another line of sponsorship, while I was STILL an IBO!

Alticor goons are acting like ... Mohr-ons! (Misspelling deliberate, Mr. Mohr.)

well, wish it would also have said 1 of ????? way to much excitement for me.....ha ha
what kind of jibberish dictionary do they use anyway....it's all lawyer talkie that make no sense - just try to confuse everyone with so much confusion and jibberish so no one really understands them or what they (q) are talking about. That's why I feel so sorry for all the poor innocent IBOs still there backing Q and believing them. Anyone know just where on earth does Q get their material?????
They obviously don't remember what they say about people or read or listen or watch their own stuff.
But enough, have a life to live, books to read, and onward to 1 Million people and beyond........

I really thought that q/a would just let the dust settle and move on with life. But that is the weakest agrument for a lawsuit that I have seen yet. q/a you had the computer with everyones info on it, we had to log into your site to see any los, you had it, you managed it. Please stop sounding like second graders on the playground. Nobody "stole" your cheese .. they are just chosing to buy it elsewhere. I'm sorry you screwed this up by letting attorneys run something they know nothing about, learn from your mistakes become a bigger person because of it, pick yourself up and move on.

Well Team Leaders,
It looks like in desperation to be right, QSSR has filed another lawsuit against Team…Wow…I sure didn’t see that coming (Not)!

Go read the suit…this is a good place to start: http://qssr.blogspot.com/

Frankly, I like the interpretation (blah, blah, blah) better than the legal twisting of words, but I would encourage you to read it.

If QSSR wins this lawsuit, you need to know that you as an IBO are owned and operated by QSSR, and any one that that you spent time and money getting into the business is owned by QSSR. Basically, QSSR owns the relationships you have with your business partners. WOW!! I thought that the LOS was just a numbering system that organized the business owners in your group. I had no idea that it was like the “mark of the beast”. Next we will not be able buy or sell if we don’t have the number.

I guess Colombo and his goons saw the launching of a NEW MLM unveil at Louisville this week end. That sure makes me mad, because I wanted to sign up. I new I shouldn’t have got up to go to the bath room, or could it have only been unveiled to those in the over flow arena. Maybe…Just maybe, it could be apart of someone’s over active imagination; straining to find anything that could possibly be wrong.

I would love to put a lawsuit against QSSR, but they already took all of my money…see how: http://quixtarlostmycents.blogspot.com/

I am not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I am getting suspicious…maybe QSSR is really apart of Satan’s great plot to control the world. If there next idea is to imbed the numbers on IBO’s hands or foreheads, and there numbering system starts with a 666…I’m not staying around to find out myself.

QSSR, this message is from and only from the opinions of madxibo, and if you have a problem these statements…then
BRING IT!!!!!!!

MadXIBO --
There was NO competing MLM announced in Louisville this past weekend! I was present for EVERY session, and EVERY speaker. It didn't happen.
I spoke to my RoundTable (former upline) member prior to the event. I was reminded none would or COULD be announced, in keeping with our 6 month non-compete clause. None can or will be prior to sometime in late February or at the soonest, March!! That's the facts, MadXIBO, so live with them.
If the spies saw and/or reported a competing MLM being launched in Louisville when they got back to Ada, they LIED!!!! I was there, along with 35,000 to 40.000 others, and I know the TRUTH.

QSSR site really knew how to deal with the blah blah blah.....same as yada yada yada....

Ok, Wheeew... I Volunteered in the Team-Mart (Tool Room) for about 4 hours and after reading this I really think that I missed something really important that nobody told me about... Thanks higher up customer base (he is a Round table guy too) for telling me that the new business was launched... I had to find out through the lawsuit site... how could he not tell me, or anyone else that I happened to be in the same customer base with... i thought we were friends?... ah well I guess that I will just have to wait for the name and new location to come out in the next lawsuit by quixsand... (Slightly sarcastic)

I love my Guys, I love my TEAM, and we strive for Excellence and play to WIN, BRING IT!!! and believe me when our new places launch there will be no secrets, and no guessing... you made this bed, now sleep in it. there is nothing worse than a loser... losers affirn other losers..

Yes! Part 2 is already out:
http://crazyfunwildworld.blogspot.com/2007/11/quixtar-why-we-fight-part-2.html

Many illegal pyramid schemes pose as legal MLM. They destroy the reputation of MLM. It is not wrong to get MLM traffic but it should be done in an ethical way. Now even Amway/Quixtar is affected by illegal schemes. People should be educated on how to detect illegal pyramid schemes:
